The Fire Insider exists because of the blogger's long-standing opposition to the wacked out American culture, run for decades by the same people, the same organizations, the same political parties. Einstein defined insanity as doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. Americans have been doing just that, only now, there is a small group of people with enormous wealth who have an incredible sense of entitlement and believe they have a divine right to keep things just as they are, or rather, to turn back the clock to a time that was even better for them.

But The Fire Insider has no hatred for anyone. Rather, he is filled with pity for the unenlightened who lack the imagination to see beyond their noses. The blog will give an account of the absurdities and contradictions that bedevil not just America, but the world, in which he has traveled, lived and worked.
